I'm Keighla.

I'm a brand, lifestyle and portrait photographer here in the San Francisco Bay Area. My love for photography started in the suburbs outside of Boston where I was born and raised.
In 2011, I moved to the west coast of Florida, where I launched K. Fox Photography. I did everything from families and newborns to weddings and events. Shortly after I married my husband, we moved across the country to start a new life in the city we honeymooned in.
When we moved to San Francisco, I took a role as an executive assistant at a creative agency. I got to experience working alongside some of the most talented creatives, with some of the biggest brand name companies. Working in that field inspired me to get back to my own business.
Now in the hills of Marin, I balance running my own brand photography business while also raising my two beautiful daughters. I love nothing more than my time with my family, I'm a coffee snob who can only handle decaf, and I put Frank's Hot Sauce on literally everything.
I love my job, and I'm passionate about the work I do. There's nothing quite like building your own business, and knowing you're building up other people's passions in the process makes it all the better.

Strategy + Planning
Mood boards, shot lists, and creative direction. Every shoot is planned around your story before we touch a camera.
Shoot Day
Guided posing, expression coaching, and on-set creative direction. You get the experience of working with someone who has been doing this for over a decade.
Preview Gallery + Selection
You receive a curated preview gallery to hand-select your favorite images. Final edits happen after your selection.
Final Delivery
Edited images delivered through an online gallery. Typically 2 to 4 weeks from selection. Optional purchase of the full gallery if you want more.

I am a member of the Marin Photography Collective and host WEBO (Women Entrepreneurs and Business Owners) gatherings at the Sausalito Studio. These events bring together local founders for connection, education, and creative support.
