The Brief

RealWomen was an inspirational project that brought me out of postpartum/pandemic woes and back into the beauty of photography. As Creative Director and lead photographer on this project, I wanted to capture women authentically embracing their bodies highlighting the very things society tells us as women we need to hide or rid ourselves of. From natural hair, and skin textures, birth marks, stretch marks, scars and eczema, we highlighted the very things we find ourselves hiding and editing out of our photos for confidence. Here we represent Real Women, the beauty of diversity, and the very things that make us all unique.
